Battle Royabb is a series of Twitch livestreams in which several "self-insert" characters are put in a Hunger Games match, with the prize of... uh... attention? Sure, let's go with that. While the main games are intended to be annual, there can be other spin-off streams with different rules and contestants.
Battle Royabb is streamed over at ABBurlap on Twitch. More event content can be seen at @ass-blasting-bitchaloid on Tumblr.
No ABBsonas are harmed during these streams. Battle Royabb is not canonical to any sources featured within the roster. (Unless it's funny.)
This may take some time to update after events.
The most recent official game is Battle Royabb 2024 (April 26, 2024).
The most recent spin-off game is Battle Royabb Gaiden: Vs. Pompkin (April 23, 2023).
The last album posted is Battle Royabb: Tag Team (June 28, 2025).
An intimidating mountain hermit who assists lost hikers with finding the way back home; the dark counterpart to Malt. She's very withdrawn and unsociable, but isn't quick to anger in the slightest, and always tries to at least tolerate the people she interacts with. Ginny has various hobbies, and is familiar with taking advantage of natural resources; however, those skills meant nothing to the horrors of Extensive Property Damage.
So far, Ginny has won 1.5 games, and has 6 kills (kills made outside of participating as a contestant do not count). Waypoint is the champion of Battle Royabb 2023.
A newly created Template who fulfills an extremely important role, whether they like it or not. He doesn't really know what he's doing in most situations, but she tries her best despite being exhausted with everything all the time, and encourages others to do the same; in the end, isn't that what matters...? Clearly so, as they're the newest Royabb champion!
So far, Protagonist has won 1 game, and has 1 kill. Protag is the champion of Battle Royabb 2024.
A bartender who was cursed by a mysterious mask and granted very unstable powers. The mask has since broken, but some remnants of its effects remain. Despite being rather quiet, Classic is self-assertive and lets little sway their thoughts, except their emotions. She isn't all arrogance, though; unfortunately, it's hard to see anything but that most of the time.
So far, Classic has won 0 games, and has 0 kills. In the latest official Royabb, Classic is killed by a trap set by Protag.
An elusive Template who rarely ever seems to be of importance. Thankfully, this means her life has been smooth sailing, save for the issues that slowly arise with Templates. Filler is very friendly and a major optimist, but is ultimately sheltered due to her unnaturally worry-free lifestyle. She won't give up said lifestyle for anything, or anyone.
So far, Filler has won 0 games, and has 1 kill. Filler is semi-canonical to The Templates, and mostly just exists within Battle Royabb as a throwback to the Cursed RP. In the latest official Royabb, Filler dies from an infection.
An aspiring DJ (obviously) who has as many brain cells as a strobe light, and is twice as flashy. She possesses a ridiculous, almost concerning amount of optimism and pep, and can seemingly come back from anything with ease. She was supposed to co-host the competition, but ended up signing the wrong stuff, and everyone just kinda... let her in...
So far, Astro has won 0 games, and has 2 kills. In the latest official Royabb, Astro trips on a hole made from deletion and explodes on impact due to a removed Anti-Splosion Field.
A well-traveled and charismatic storyteller who's been exploring the world for several centuries; the light counterpart to Ginny. While she's very much a people person at first glance, Malt refuses to get too close to anybody, and becomes visibly uncomfortable when in one-on-one conversation for too long. (She also seems to just generally handle pressure really, really poorly.) After skipping a year of competition, they already miss the event– will the break benefit them, or are they now out of practice?
So far, Malt has won 0 games, and has 3 kills. Malt is a returning contestant after being disqualified in Battle Royabb 2022. In the last official Royabb they were involved with, Malt survives the initial moments of a chunk of the playing field getting deleted, but is taken out by the resulting debris.
Wuhu Fun Fact: 5 minutes remain.
So far, Asshat has won 0 games, and has 0 kills. In the latest official Royabb, Hat is deleted from existence.
A very tired rookie within the ranks of Hell's guard, who can owe their current situation to Abby. She used to be quite carefree, even if it wasn't entirely genuine, and somewhat quick-tempered; however, she now seems to be kind of... dead inside. Yearning for something more, she reattempts the challenge she lost so long ago...
So far, Merry has won 0 games, and has 0 kills. Merry is a returning contestant after being disqualified in Battle Royabb 2021. In the latest official Royabb, Merry is deleted from existence.
A lonely and eccentric nomad from an alternate Earth ravaged by unnaturally high tides and war. The radiation has affected the massive ocean they've found themselves floating in, and by proxy, her. She's meek, slow to trust, and seems to be a bit afraid of everything at all times, but pushes on nonetheless.
So far, Waterglider has won 0 games, and has 1 kill. In the latest official Royabb, Glider forfeits after a chunk of the playing field is deleted.
I don't know who this is.
So far, Sexymabb has won 0 games, and has 5 kills (8 counting inferred kills). Sexymabb currently has the most kills out of the current roster. In the latest official Royabb, Sexymabb is deleted from existence. Sexymabb won this year's popularity poll, picking his win streak back up.
The oldest and most powerful Template to ever exist– the first one to ever exist, for that matter. It's very, very hard to keep track of what she can and will do, as the effects of her nature as a Template can cause people to even forget she even exists once they lose sight of her. She's sought out and killed every Template after her (besides Merchant), and doesn't intend to stop. Other than that, Antagonist seems to be genuinely content with her situation, and never attacks unless provoked.
So far, Antagonist has won 0 games, and has 0 kills. In the latest official Royabb, Antagonist is (somehow) killed by Sexymabb for her supplies.
A field reporter and anchorwoman of little words, who currently works at the Skyline News Station. She's quite compassionate and sometimes a total doormat, even if she appears rather asocial at first glance. They're not in their comfort zone, but maybe this will make for a good story?
So far, Aperture has won 0 games, and has 1 kill. In the latest official Royabb, Aperture is stabbed by Astro with a trident.
A resourceful magician who relays information and gives assistance to both Protagonist and Antagonist. She has accepted her fate as a Template, but plans to usurp either one of her cohorts' roles, as she finds the fact that she's literally only a side character to the other two greatly upsetting from an existential standpoint. She's affable, if a little fickle, and takes pride in her work, maintaining a "mysterious" persona.
So far, Merchant has won 0 games, and has 0 kills. In the latest official Royabb, Merchant dies from getting caught in Mayfly's magic misfire.
A bitter cyberpunk sniper with no patience for others, as she's already expended it all on an unfulfilling life. She has a deep appreciation for the arts, even if she isn't very good at it herself (she's more of a singer, really), and uses a paintball gun as her weapon of choice– she doesn't like killing people unless absolutely necessary.
So far, Mayfly has won 0 games, and has 1 kill. In the latest official Royabb, Mayfly dies from a magic misfire, taking Merchant with her.
A fear-riddled barista who can control the very future and identity of others (namely, Merry). She's very friendly and definitely not plotting to kill you in order to maintain immortality, I promise. She hasn't left the cafe she runs for years, so she's a little behind the times, and has the physical health of a matchstick. Hopefully she'll be able to adapt to the new environment within the games!
So far, Abby has won 0 games, and has 0 kills. In the latest official Royabb, Abby dies from a magic misfire while trying to take out Waterglider.
A mind-reader informant that sells highly sought-after information, with the hidden cost of your own secrets. She seems to have no concept of personal boundaries (or just doesn't care), and is debating on removing her tie to have even more control over the thoughts of others. Her past is shrouded in mystery; as far as anyone's concerned, she simply appeared one day.
So far, Phyllis has won 0 games, and has 1 kill. She is completely outside the canon of the KCU, and mostly just exists within Battle Royabb. In the latest official Royabb, Phyllis dies via unknown means.
A magical girl who can invoke the power of urban legends. Barb is intelligent and extroverted– but they're also kind of a massive smartass, with a bit too much confidence in herself. However, they seem to be well aware of this, as they usually put a lot of thought and contemplation into everything they do. Hopefully that habit will come in handy...
So far, Barb has won 0 games, and has 1 kill (3 counting inferred kills). In the latest official Royabb, Barb instantly takes a spear to the gut, courtesy of Aperture. As she is in last place, she is disqualified and will not appear in the following Royabb.
The god of elevator music, and many other things. Is dead-set on remaining an outsider to life, and refuses to be perceived if she can help it. Even so, she's ended up at the forefront of a televised event in front of massive crowds... can she get a grip, or will she take the backrooms out of there and return to anonymity?
Ipanema is a newcomer, and currently has no stats.
A scientist living in constant fear of the other Templates and their sway over The Narrative. They want to avoid them as long as possible to figure out the inner workings of whatever keeps them trapped, before they're violently dragged into the plot. However, she's now come into contact with all of them– but something is off...
Researcher is a newcomer, and currently has no stats.
Classic's robotic assistant of dubious origin. Blurp has a very mild and amicable attitude most of the time, often acting as the voice of reason unless somehow set off (a much harder thing to do than one would think). It doesn't seem to like its job as a bartender very much, but it hasn't had the chance to do much else. After taking a gap year following its management of Battle Royabb 2022, Blurp now works as an especially adaptable training coach for the event.
So far, Blurp has won 1 game, and has 0 kills. Blurp is the first ever champion of Battle Royabb, and hosted Battle Royabb 2022.
An aloof survivalist with no memories, other than the vague feeling of walking down an empty subway. She hasn't interacted with people in a very long time, so she can be sort of naive and clingy, even to those she doesn't really trust. That is, if you do interact with them; they seem to like working alone. After managing Battle Royabb 2023, they've become a bit more amicable, but don't expect them to take charge of anything related to the games again.
So far, Waypoint has won 1 game, and has 0 kills. Waypoint is the champion of Battle Royabb 2022, and hosted Battle Royabb 2023.
A newly-hired engineer for a top-secret agency. She often gets lost in her work, and seems to have very little regard for the safety of both her and her co-workers, but she's good enough at what she does to remain employed. In fact, they were supposed to be hired on arena staff, but were deemed too reckless to be involved– they took it as a sign to relax and take things easy for a while. Y'know. Via deathmatch.
So far, Purl has won 0 games, and has 0 kills. Purl was disqualified in Battle Royabb 2023. However, Purl was the ABBsona who got the farthest in the latest Royabb Gaiden, reaching 4th place. In the last official Royabb they were involved with, Purl was killed by Mayfly during a fight between the two and Filler.
Names in bold are "away team" contestants.
